How to become a PSP member

Membership Enquiry Perth Studio Potters Inc is an artist run - not for profit organisation which was established in 1957. The Committee who manage and run the Club are a dedicated, energetic and industrious group of volunteers who spend many hours making sure that all of the financial obligations are met. The aim of the Club is to further the interest, the knowledge and to pass on the skills in the art of making pottery. Classes are held 4 terms per year for beginners and advanced - children and adult students. Adult members receive a discount for classes. Workshops by local, interstate and overseas potters are held and other art related activities. Discounts for workshops are given to members. To become a member of the Club you must complete an Application Form and be proposed by a teacher or an existing member. If your enquiry is from outside the club you must provide two referees and/or you may be required to do a term of classes before assessment. Please contact the Membership Secretary and arrange for a meeting at the Club. If you have samples of your work and/or photos they should be brought in or attached with your application for assessment by the Committee at their monthly meeting. A probationary period may be required and any member not abiding by the rules and regulations can have their membership revoked.
