About
Perth Studio Potters Inc is a not for profit organisation managed by a Committee drawn from our membership.
We have well equipped workrooms and kiln facilities which are available to all members. Our studio, glaze room and kilns are in constant use and many of our members give their time to help to keep our facilities running smoothly.
After 65 years as a pottery studio we look forward to making and promoting the art of pottery well into the future.
Burt Street Gallery
The gallery is located at the front of the building and offers our members the opportunity to display and sell their work to the public. Our exhibition openings are well attended by supporters and collectors and offer a diverse range of works which reflect current trends and ideas in ceramics.
Please check our GALLERY page for information on upcoming exhibitions. Everyone is welcome.
Classes
We hold classes to introduce others to the joys of working with clay. We have great teachers and our classes are extremely popular.
Further information can be found on the Classes page.

How to Become a Member
We are a small not-for-profit community pottery club in Cottesloe with a cap of 125 persons on our membership.
Twice a year, if there are vacancies, we invite applications from persons on the expression of interest list.
In order for an application to progress and be considered for membership, it must include a nomination. This can occur in one of two ways:
(i) Minimum 3 consecutive terms of classes undertaken at Perth Studio Potters, nominated by PSP class Teacher
or
(ii) Nominated by an existing PSP Member.
In addition, all applicants will be required to:
· Provide a minimum of 3 physical samples of recent work when called to do so
· Demonstrate knowledge and competency of safe practise within a ceramic studio (this is because members work unsupervised at the studio).
If you are interested and meet the criteria please send an expression of interest to: membership@perthstudiopotters.org.au
