Francesca Geromino
Francesca works with organic materials pressed into clay. She specialises in functional ware and currently sells her work online and through a number of stores around Perth. Francesca also teaches hand-building workshops and runs ceramics courses in South Fremantle.
Irene Schneider
Irene is a qualified product designer, ceramicist and yoga/meditation teacher. Using clay as her favourite form of creative expression and mindfulness practice, she has been exploring and developing her creative and ceramics practices over the past 20 years. Irene runs her design business @studiolokadesign alongside running mindful clay meditation workshops and teaching yoga and meditation classes around Perth.
Kelly Andrews
A former club President and Gallery Director Kelly has been a member of Perth Studio Potters for over 20 years. An active and committed member she has played a significant part in the club’s direction and development. Having recently retired from the committee, Kelly now enjoys pursuing her creative practice to the full.
Jeanne Powell
Jeanne’s love of clay began over 50 years ago. During this time she has experimented and recorded her processes extensively. With an avid interest in wood firing and glaze technology, Jeanne has been an active member of the club for nearly 30 years, inspiring a new generation of PSP members with her experimental techniques and output.
Valerie Schoenjahn
Working across a multitude of media, Valerie’s practice is informed by her emotional and tactile landscape. Her background in architecture and a passion for space, material, domestic storytelling and rituals underpin her artistic practice. Valerie creates non-functional ceramics and describes her work as process driven and experimental.
